Charleston Creekside Inn

This motel has been a wonderful surprise. Everything is clean and comfortable, and the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Vanessa, her positive vibes are contagious and she made our stay feel extra welcoming. You can tell the people here actually care, and that makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

I have read many mixed reviews about this hotel so I wanted to leave an unbiased review from a couple that was poor for years, but are now well off so we’ve been on both sides . My wife and I stayed here over night . It was relatively close to a restaurant that we knew we would be drinking at that evening . First off this is a Nostalgic Motel , this is not a Hilton Hotel . This is a $100 room , this is not a $400 room . This is a Continental Complementary breakfast that consists of cold and or hot microwaved items , this is not a gourmet breakfast or brunch establishment and they do not claim to be . I’ve seen posts that sidewalks and steps are stained . Not true , this concrete is painted and with heavy traffic it wears . With all that being cleared up this motel has a friendly staff , clean rooms , comfy bed , great water pressure , large tv , fridge and microwave in the rooms at a cheap rate . It is well lit at night and is located on a beautiful marsh . If you are bougie or use to high-end places, you are gonna hate this place . If you are a down to earth no frills kind of person that just need a safe clean place to stay over night that is not going to cost you to much then your going to like it .

We stopped by the Charleston Creekside Inn to check out room 229, the infamous Outer Banks room. My teenagers are huge fans of the show, so it was a must. After taking a few pictures, my oldest wanted to ask if she could see the inside of the room. Latrell, who was working the front desk, made their dream come true. lol. He graciously allowed them to check out the room and take pics. His hospitality was amazing and we highly recommend staying here. Even though we weren’t there for a stay, we were able to see how nice, clean and comfortable they are. And again, the hospitality and kindness is above and beyond.

I needed a place for my Mom and brother to stay when they visited me for Thanksgiving. This hotel is in a great location in West Ashley and it's only a few miles from my house, so it was an obvious choice. At check in, Latrell was very nice and helpful and warm and welcoming. Please recognize him for his efforts to ensure my family had a nice stay!

My stay at Charleston Creekside Inn was absolutely perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet with a great view of the creek. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Special shout-out to Vanessa at the front desk; she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. She really made the check-in experience warm and stress-free. Great location, fair price, and outstanding service all around. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Charleston! Highly recommend.

Five stars specifically dedicated to Latrell, who was SO patient in dealing with super.com, a third party that was being absolutely unhelpful when we needed to add my name to the reservation. Thank you for helping us figure it out and for keeping me off the streets that night! Rooms were pleasantly surprising for a motel! Seems like they updated most things like the bed and TV. Room was clean except for the bathroom fan and AC fan, which were quite dusty. Shower grout could also use some love, and the tub was kinda janky (knob free spun hot-cold-hot and spout was sticking out from the wall oddly), but water pressure was nice (if you didnt use the sink at the same time) and stayed hot so, for a motel, pretty good. It could REALLY use a plastic shower curtain though - nearly flooded the bathroom cause the water just goes through the cloth one. Point the head away from the curtain! Locks were solid and window slat blinds worked fine, though it would be nice to have a curtain to block out all the light. Walls were quite thin so bring headphones in case your neighbors watch TV all night. Again, it's a motel, so this was within expectations. I personally used my own headphones bluetoothed to the smart TV, which was nice. I did have some trouble trying to sign out of Prime on the TV in the morning due to network issues, but if that happens to you just go to your app on your phone and disconnect that login from there. Beautiful view, wonderful location that's just outside of the city but close enough to get to things. About 40 minutes form the beach. Great clean rooms, hot water and good showers. Staff was friendly but they are a bit slow! It didn't bother us any though they were polite and happy to help once we found them. A pretty good find for a little motel.

Vanessa made my check-in experience absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. She handled everything smoothly and efficiently while making me feel truly valued as a guest. Her positive attitude and attention to detail set the tone for a great stay. Vanessa is a real asset to the hotel, and I sincerely appreciate the excellent service she provided.
